OSU's National Student Speech Language Hearing Association will be hosting the 12th Annual Ohio Statewide NSSLHA Conference for the first time since 2010! It will be on Sunday, November 19th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ohio Union, with registration opening at 9:15 a.m. Going off of the theme "Keep Calm and Lead On," Ohio State undergraduates from across disciplines are invited to attend two lectures and three workshops focusing on personal growth, professional development, and leadership skills. Professional headshots will also be taken, so wear your best business casual outfit! OSU faculty, graduate students, and professionals from the Columbus community will be sharing their knowledge to help facilitate student development. A light breakfast and packed lunch will be provided along with raffles and many take-away gifts! We look forward to seeing you all there!
Tickets for the conference are $10 and on sale until November 9th! They can be purchased at the link below:

10 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Opening Remarks
10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Stress Relief and Work/Life Balance for Our Professions
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The Importance of Emotional Intelligence in Our Professions
12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Lunch with Ohio State Speech and Hearing Faculty (a great networking opportunity!)
1:45 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Workshop
2:45 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Workshop
3:45 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Workshop*After lunch, the attendees will split into three groups and rotate through three 45 minute breakout sessions:
1. Graduate School Panel, faciliated by Dr. Rebecca McCauley, the Chair of the Speech-Language Pathology Oversight Subcommittee
2. "The Other M.D.:" Service Learning and Animal Assisted Therapy in Pediatric Rehabilitation, featuring service dogs-in-training!
3. "Undergraduate to Graduate Professionalism and Leadership". During this session, attendees will have the opportunity for a professional headshot to update their LinkedIn and other online profiles.4:45 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Closing Remarks
